Eran Shaham :
Mr. Eran Shaham, founder and director of the High-Tech and Cyber School at Bar-Ilan University, has decades of experience in communication and cyber training in Israel and around the world. Eran established and managed the "Malam" training center and later founded and directed the continuing and external studies unit at the Technion for eight years.
During his career, Eran has trained over 20,000 integrators and clients in Israel and abroad.

Over 30 years of rich experience as a lecturer and training manager in cyber and information security. Manager of the School of Hi-Tech and Cyber Security at Bar-Ilan University. Manages the authorized training centers of the leading virtualization, networking and information companies in the world: Amazon AWS, VMware, EC-Council, Check Point and ICS2, and trains integrators in advanced courses. 20 years of experience in training Check Point customers and partners in advanced technologies. Initiated, established and managed certificate courses in Tel Aviv, Haifa and Jerusalem for 8 years, as part of the Technion – Division of Continuing Education & External Studies.
Established and managed the MalamTeam Group, MalamTeam Training Center, responsible for training the Group’s 4,000 employees.
Managed the Information Security Community at Microsoft Israel.

Business intelligence is a major area of information technology. In recent years, the need to deal with huge amounts of information has risen, and the impact of business insights is becoming increasingly significant. Our curriculum trains business intelligence experts in data research and in developing techniques for producing business insights. From the raw information found in the company’s database, competitive knowledge is generated that adds value to the company’s managers.
During the course, the student installs an SQL Server-based database, queries SQL and Python, continues to develop Front End and Back End (SSIS), and finishes with a high-quality dashboard building through which the student introduces business insights.
In addition to BI technologies, during the course the student will be exposed to the field of cloud and Financial Operations. Cloud technology has many advantages: Flexibility, broad access to all members of the organization, a wide range of services and more. However, among these benefits lies the biggest challenge for cloud users: Controlling cloud costs and controlling the nature of its use.
The FinOps world includes two main fields of knowledge:
• Cost Control: Based on analysis, reports, alerts, resource tagging, etc.
• Cost Optimization: Through in-depth technological understanding, financial tools and architectural changes. As cloud technologies enter our lives, and many companies move server and application infrastructures into the cloud, there is a great need in the market for professionals who can make business decisions about billing and cost optimization and can decide between cloud solutions from different manufacturers.
